This Privacy Policy explains how Stylo (“Stylo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Stylo mobile application and the website stylo.one (together, the “Service”). Stylo is an AI virtual try-on app: you upload a photo and items of clothing, and the app generates an image of how the outfit looks on you.

1. Data we collect

Photos and images you upload — selfies, full-body photos and pictures of clothing items. These are the core of the try-on feature.
Wardrobe and style data — items you add, categories, sizes, saved outfits, favourites and style preferences.
Account data — email address or the identifier provided by Apple / Google sign-in.
Subscription data — purchase status and trial state received from the App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your card details.
Technical and usage data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash reports, and anonymous usage events (screens opened, features used).
Website analytics — on stylo.one we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects an anonymised IP address, pages viewed and referral source.

2. Why we use your data

To generate virtual try-on images and outfit recommendations (this is the main purpose of the app).
To keep your wardrobe, saved looks and settings synchronised across your devices.
To operate subscriptions and free trials.
To fix bugs, prevent abuse and improve quality and performance of the Service.
To answer your support requests.

Legal bases under the GDPR: performance of a contract (providing the Service), your consent (for photo processing and analytics cookies), and our legitimate interest (security, product improvement).

3. AI processing of your photos

To create a try-on image, your photo and the selected clothing images are processed by AI image-generation services acting as our processors. Photos are transmitted over an encrypted connection, used only to produce your result and are not used to advertise to you. We do not sell your images, and we do not publish them anywhere without your explicit permission.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only with service providers that make the Service work: cloud hosting and storage, AI image-generation providers, crash and analytics tooling (Google Analytics), and the App Store / Google Play billing systems. Each provider may process the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if required by law.

5. How long we keep data

Photos, wardrobe items and generated looks are stored while your account is active. When you delete an item it is removed from your account, and when you delete your account all associated personal data is deleted from our production systems, with backups purged on a rolling basis. Anonymised technical statistics may be retained.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy in a portable format, restriction of processing, or withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account directly in the app, or write to support@stylo.one. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country, including in the EU and the United States. Where required, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The revision date at the top always shows the current version, and significant changes will be announced in the app.
